John Bramhall Entertainment Services
John is available to perform at most any kind of function where people want to have fun. Over the years he has entertained at hundreds of bar gigs keeping the dancing going until closing time. In the 80’s and 90’s there were many high school dances and younger birthday parties. John now feels that his expertise is best suited for wedding receptions, mature birthday parties, anniversaries, reunions and similar events.
John has played for many Elk’s Club Installation ceremonies, hospital awards dinners, fire department annual banquets, anniversary celebrations, roasts and retirements. If someone can think up a reason for a party John has probably played for it!
John’s experience as an entertainer started in Junior High School in a quartet that won many talent contests. The "Coachmen Four" was chosen to play at the NY World’s Fair and appear on the Ted Mack Original Amateur Hour. After college John accepted a teaching position and a busy coaching schedule, but the desire to sing kept him in front of various rock bands until 1981 when he started his DJ business. John feels strongly that his years as a lead singer have given him a unique perspective and ability to please the listener.
If you are planning a special event and would like the music to reflect a special era or attitude John is happy to accommodate. John’s musical collection includes Big Band and Swing, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today’s hits. You can also throw in old and new Country, Mardi Gras, Irish jigs and Polkas. John once was asked to play an entire evening of Austrian waltzes, and he pulled it off without a problem. (Don’t even think about it).
